John Murray was born in Greenock, Scotland on January 04, 1951. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. John will always be known for his true strength of character, caring nature and a great sense of humour.

In lieu of flowers, we have set up a tribute fund in John’s name for donations to be made to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Charity. This Lung Cancer Foundation is the only charity in the UK wholly dedicated to the defeat of lung cancer – giving help and hope to lung cancer patients now and in the future.

We'd also like to keep this tribute fund and memorial to John remaining well into the future for fundraising events undertaken in his memory.  It would be good to give something to all those who find they are facing the most difficult time in their lives, in the hope that through ongoing research there will one day be a cure.

He will always be loved and in our hearts and thoughts forever.
